Exploring the ancient past, inspiring present, and promising future of Israel’s wines—with a special focus on both Rhône varieties and native grapes—Tasting Panel favorably reviewed and scored a selection of white wines from producers Dalton, Recanati, Gva’ot, Golan Heights Winery, Barkan, and Carmel, and included multiple quotes from Advanced Sommelier Erik Segelbaum, who noted that “Israeli wines offer so much diversity in terms of style and selection that they should be a no-brainer for any international wine list.”
