An educational consumer masterclass on September 20th entitled “Old(est) World Wine” held at the Breakers Stable. Led by wine educator Robin Kelley O’Connor and exploring the wines of Israel, Lebanon, and Greece—from world-class wines to affordable bottles, international grapes to ancient varieties. Discussion of the origins of fine winemaking in the Eastern Mediterranean, including a guided tasting to unearth some of today’s more important wines and trace their connections to local cuisines, cultural traditions, and ancient terroirs.
