Segal Winery was founded in the early 1950’s by the Segal family, expert distillers from White Russia. The winery was a pioneer of the Galilee. In 2001 it was bought by Barkan Winery, but its wines are marketed separately. With a new winemaker, the winery is becoming known for innovation, focusing on more naturally-produced wines and emphasizing Israeli roots.
