Jacques Capsouto Vignobles

Manhattan restaurateur Jacques Capsouto lost his restaurant because of Hurricane Sandy, and at the age of seventy, decided to found an Israeli winery. He planted his vineyard in 2011 near Peki’in in the Galilee. Jacques Capsouto is a Francophile and expresses his objective of making French-style wines in Israel using southern Rhone varieties. He is Israel’s ‘Kosher Rhone Ranger.’
