Barkan was founded in 1990 and has grown to become the largest winery in Israel and one of the biggest exporters. Now it is situated at Hulda in a state-of the-art winery, alongside the largest vineyard in Israel. Barkan has wines giving quality and value at every price point and the winery regularly wins awards in international competitions. The winemaker is Ido Lewinsohn, one of Israel’s most talented young winemakers.
